The chaos of the World is enough to drive a sane being maad! These days, so many people talk about yoga, meditation and smoothie bowls all the damn time, yet none of these alleged experts can share how they achieved their personal peace. Why not? Maybe because they haven't quite reached it yet. They share false pretenses that highlight what they think the journey of awakening is supposed to be about. Words are curses. Whatever we speak out, we must live out. Perhaps the error in our current journey is following leaders who are perusing the same happiness we are, but pretend life is hunky dory. Which teaches our sub conscious to honor 2 separate realities as 1 honest path. This is an issue many of us suffer from.
Meditation is the stillness of the mind. But how can you keep still with your mind!? After all, the mind is the 1st computer mankind has access to. When learning to honor the mind, the 1st concept to consider is how you take care of your own computer. Do you keep it powered on until it eventually dies, or do you turn it off after usage, turning it off nightly? The 2nd option is a more healthy method of caring for technology. The human body is our 1st exposure to technology.
In this very moment, I'd like you to give yourself 15 minutes every day to simply sit with yourself. In this time, focus on your breath and nothing else. As you inhale, breath in through your nose and say 'positivity in', in you head. Exhale though your mouth and say 'negativity out', again, in your head. This is how we direct energy and train ourselves to listen to our inner voice. This voice stems form our super conscious. The part of us that knows all the answers to all the questions we could ever have.
You will get a bunch of random thoughts, you may even hear things in the background. Tell yourself you will check on it right after you give yourself this personal time. For best results, this should be practices daily. Once a day, you are committing to yourself. 2x's a day, means your serious. 3x's a day means your focused. 4x's a day means you are on the way to self mastery. This a marathon, not a race. Your only competition is yourself.
